Great Expectations

Mission Intermediate Grade Center has been recognized by the Great Expectations Foundation of Oklahoma as a "Model School" for the past nine consecutive years. This distinction is achieved when all teachers are trained in, and employ, Great Expectations Methodology at an acceptable level of implementation. Faculty members are evaluated by Great Expectations representatives during on-site visits and are recognized in a special recognition ceremony in Oklahoma City each year. The past two years we have also received special recognition from the Oklahoma House of Representatives for our accomplishments through Great Expectations.

Who's Who Award

Mrs. Susan Landers, Media Specialist, has received the national recognition of Who's Who Among  America's Teachers.

GE Instructor

We are fortunate to have one GE instructor on staff at our school, Mrs. Tricia Waller. Mrs. Waller has conducted GE training for teachers at summer workshops in Edmond, Owasso, Tahlequah, and Broken Arrow. Mrs. Waller is available to assist other teachers in the Coweta District and the surrounding area related to classroom management and implementation of Great Expectations Methodology.
